Appendix B. Final Design Assumptions and Exclusions

The report fixes lavender as the official botanical basis and 100 L/day as the finished hydrosol target.

One production batch per day is assumed. The plant is not sized for continuous 24-hour operation.

Electric heating is the selected final basis. Gas and external boiler alternatives are outside the selected configuration.

Condenser sizing is based on conservative thermal estimation for startup design; final vendor duty confirmation is still required during procurement.

Installed cost ranges exclude leasehold acquisition, local permitting fees, and major building renovations.

Local code compliance, exact electrical panel design, and jurisdiction-specific product claims remain site- and market-dependent tasks.

The design is final at business-development level and suitable for publication, but not a substitute for stamped local construction documents where legally required.

Closing Statement

This final design report establishes a credible, technically coherent, and commercially presentable 100 L/day hydrosol plant. The chosen configuration is disciplined enough to be taken seriously by vendors and customers yet lean enough to launch without the burden of unnecessary complexity. It is therefore an appropriate final report for a startup facility and public-facing business materials.
